He makes Johnny Fball look slow.

I think if he ran more, and earlier in the game, it may have been really close.

Mike Thomas does the same to NFL players.
How did this get downvotes?

Tyreek Hill is the fastest I’ve ever seen in pads.

He 100% made business decisions when running early in the game. I saw several times where he could have gotten 4 or more yards if he would have cut back inside but instead slid or got outside as quickly as possible.

In the second half he took the yards and some hits but it looked like his team rallied around him

That's how Murray has played all year and still racked up almost 900 yards and 11 TDs averaging almost 7.3 yards per carry. Those totals were before the Bama game. If you guys haven't watched him this year, it's like effortless the way he plays.

The thing I like about Lincoln Riley's offense aside from the fact that he added a ridiculously good power run game to an air raid system, it's that he does a lot of downfield passing. He doesn't dink and dunk and screen game, like a lot of air raids that have guys averaging 3500-4500 yards a year, but averaging somewhere along 6.7-8.0 yards per pass. It's one of the main reasons why both Mayfield and Murray were averaging ridiculous yards per pass attempt (Mayfield 11.1 and 11.5, Murray 11.9).

But this is the reason why top QBs keep transferring and/or committing out of high school to Clemson, Ohio St, and Oklahoma.

Look at Trevor Lawrence. True freshman this year and was a backup the first 4 games. He started 10 games and played in halves of the other 4 yet has 2900 pass yards, 27 pass TDs and is completing over 66% of his passes. Yeah, part of that is because the ACC was down, but a true freshman QB doing that against a year of power 5 teams is amazing.

I don't fault him for this. I know he is listed at 5'10" 195lbs but there is no way he is that big. He doesn't help his team hurt on the sideline. When you are that size playing against someone like Bama you have to pick your spots.

He made Bama 5* studs look slow.

Honestly, he may have a shot in the NFL, but I doubt as a QB. Can you imagine him as a slot WR?

The 50+ yard TD strike he threw when the pocket was collapsing and it appeared he was going to run was one phenomenal throw. He has supreme athletic ability. When a QBs throws for 300+ and runs for 100+ with mutiple TDs after Saban and Bama have had almost a month to prepare, then you know you're dealing with some awesome talent.

Too bad there’s no “burst” on Oklahoma defense. Typical Big 12 defense, full of holes and missed tackles.
