November CBB is the worst. I've said that many times in the past.

Honestly CBB in general is a shite sport & barely watchable nowadays. Its been like this since the 1 & done rule was put into effect.

There’s maybe 5 teams most seasons that’s games are watchable. Most games however are so horrendous I feel like I should pour acid into both of my eyeballs after just a couple mins.

Hell some of the Womens games are more entertaining & play better Ball than the mens teams.

I'd think that game should be able to be protested or challenged.

Agreed. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing as I listened to the game. I’m almost 60 years old, and as others have said, I’ve never seen/heard of such.

My question is, while I fully support an official protest, what’s the possible remedy here? What happens if we win the protest?

Nothing, best case scenario maybe an official letter acknowledging a rule was not followed correctly

LSU could give the NCAA big time issues by protesting the outcome. At worst this is a do over.

Agreed. If thats the rule fine. Then it should be a do over. Give ball back to LSU and have the clock start correctly again.

They just walked it off like the last 5 secs of the game were never played

It’s entertainment not an athletic competition.

That game was stolen from The Tigers. Vintage third-world officiating

Pitiful, the dude had just one job.
Still remember this game from the 1986 NCAA regional semifinal...not a Spartan fan, but they got screwed vs. the Jayhawks with no do-over...

Doug Shows was one of the refs. He officiated all 3 of our games.

If that's the NCAA rule they need to retroactively award the 1982 Tennessee game in Baton Rouge which would strip UT a share of the SEC title.

Why does LSU always find itself in some crazy officiating dilemma in every sport?

Well, too late to cry over spilled milk.....

LSU will have an * near thier loss column!

A replay (additional inbounds of the ball) was the only fair thing to do, and I did not read the actual rules.
