That would have meant even more to me as a former player to be there to watch them get revenge.
Quite a few of them were there, Chris Reid and Antoine Duplantis off the top of my head.

Beating UF without even having to use Skeens was even sweeter. If we had won another game 4-3 or 2-1 with Skeens coming in for two innings to nail it down at the end, we would be listening to UF fans talking about the only reason we won was because of Skeens. It wouldn't really matter because we had him and they didn't but this way we can say we beat your 3 best pitchers with our number 2 starter and our bullpen. Sucks for them.

Maybe this has been asked already in the thread or he probably mentioned it in the video did he not watch, but was he not busy with MiLB?
ETA: I see that Memphis was playing Iowa that weekend and were off Monday, that actually would've been an easy trip for him.

I Want It To Be About Me - Kramer Robertson

He decides to watch the game at home and alone. Not in front of cameras on the field after the game, not inserting himself into the celebration. He is asked a question in a press conference.

I remember that picture of Trindan Holliday hanging from Kramer's arm.

Actual apparent serious replies in this thread criticizing Robertson for
a) watching at home because he cared too much and
b) grinding at AAA trying to become a big league regular

Some of the same people have PTSD about 1/9/2012.

Could you imagine Ben McDonald telling ESPN he can't attend the CWS because it hurts too much..

He had a pretty good CWS. I don’t get this comment.
I think you do. The person commenting is either a clueless idiot or a prick. Likely both.

Not anymore.
2019 helped big time & 11/5/22 changed everything last year.
Hopefully this CWS helped Kramer move on from 2017

I'll never forget his last at bat at the CWS when the whole crowd was screaming "Let's go Kramer" in unison.

realize his mom is rich, but it’s probably time to hang it up. 150k signing bonus and 6 years in the minors, 2 games in MLB and 28 years old. He should start considering getting into coaching
Imagine a douchebag (almost surely obese) sitting in front of his keyboard advising a baseball player who has been good enough to get called up once tot he show on when he should give up his dream. Some of you are amazing. And not in a good way.

All of this is “how it make YOU feel” and “what YOU think”. Everyone thinks different and it hits different. Criticizing him is stupid and expecting him to act like we think he should is a huge problem with this fan base.

I thought he gave up the grand slam in 1987 ?

Imagine another douchebag getting offended at someone pointing out what the big league clubs are already thinking. He got put on waivers twice last year, lost his 40 man spot, and is hitting below 200 this season

I work with a player for 2011 football. The first time he went back for a game in Tiger Stadium was when they presented the 2011 team last year.
