To me, the problem is that young black men/women continue to get killed by police. So much so, that they don’t feel safe from law enforcement. Regardless of why this happens, it is a sad state of affairs that it continues happening in the 21st century.

I mean I know a number of people who literally had guns drawn on them by police who simply had incorrect police calls. Example - A neighbor thought they heard a gun when they didn't.. Or a neighbor thought someone was breaking into a house they were actually allowed to be at.

None of them felt racially profiled.

I am trying to wait for all the facts to actually come out before calling anyone a liar, but I still hate he feels it's racial. I am hoping body cams can show us what went down. Need to protect both sides.

So because they didn't think it was racial that means it's ok? Why is it just acceptable to get a gun pulled on you for no reason? That's wrong!

And sorry I'm not up to the latest police slang. Everything I own isn't thin blue line gear like some of y'all.

Lol, my oh my. You think that is police slang. This kind of statement just shows how truly ignorant people are in relation to police and the black community. However, Cardi B and LeBron say something and you take it like Gospel.

Oof.

Side note: gospel mean good news. I know people think it means truth but...

Old English godspel, from god ‘good’ + spel ‘news, a story’ (see spell2), translating ecclesiastical Latin bona annuntiatio or bonus nuntius, used to gloss ecclesiastical Latin evangelium, from Greek euangelion ‘good news’ (see evangel); after the vowel was shortened in Old English, the first syllable was mistaken for god ‘God’.

Yes while acting in their capacity as a public servant. Do you not understand the distinction?

According to people on this board, the only time white people get shot by police is when they are diving in front of a bullet intended for a black person. Also, the only times they are arrested is when they steal the officer's handcuffs and put them on theirselves. The white guilt is nauseating.

You are so full of shite. There was a story of a white male shot by police in AZ two years ago at a hotel after someone called after seeing a BB gun. The cop got off and it was a tragedy. There was no racial component though so the major media don’t cover it. You are the worst race baiter in the Rant.

The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth doesn’t matter to anyone anymore. Simply using “their version” of the facts is what matters. And “facts” that contradict their viewpoint are lies and propaganda.

This is what has gone wrong with this world. People automatically claim complete and utter victimization every time something goes wrong for them.

Does it mean bad or inappropriate things don’t ever happen? Of course not, they certainly do, but the number of false flags has gotten out of hand and is ruining things for everyone.

I agree. The voting public / taxpayers should be free to demand traffic cameras on public roads just like they are free to demand dash cams in publicly-owned vehicles and body cams for taxpayer-funded police officers. Hell, while we’re at it we should allow the police to use private CCTV videos as evidence in criminal cases.

are some of y’all this stupid? You DO NOT get a gun pulled for no reason. I’ve never seen it. When police show up or are called, they are there for a specific reason. You can bet your arse that there was a call OR there was an APB out for a stolen car OR there was something seen by a neighbor. When they show up they are going to AUTOMATICALLY assume the alleged perp has a gun. Go freaking ride along one night and see what I mean then come back and explain how freaking hard of a job they have to defend EVERYONE including drug dealers that are being threatened.

You have no idea what it’s like at 2 in the morning and have shite go down to rush to a scene. I volunteered as a fireman for 15 years and saw shite in Houston you would not believe.
