It doesn’t matter. His biggest rivals in recruiting are marching with their players and O isn’t.

Let's see how the season and recruiting class plays out. A little early to pronounce success or failure with respect to pandering. I think Sab should take it a step further and take a knee.

The thing is it would've taken little effort to be out there. It hurts nothing to be out there, but obviously is highlighted in a negative way if he wasnt there.

Fact: White police are not targeting black people like the media would like for you to believe.

Fact: Coaches are scared and will pander to their players and not tell them how they really feel about what’s going on.

I can't blame the coaches for this.

Did O even know it was happening? Weren’t they supposed to practice that day? He showed up in workout clothes and appeared to be in a hurry as if he had just found out about it. Saban saw the pushback on O and figured he better participate.

He needs to teach young men to stand up to what they believe in, not be men influenced by others

I don’t know that this is what he did but damn people we should t criticize someone actually standing in principle.

Jacob Blake was wanted for sexual assault, fought the police, and reached for a knife

Maybe Coach O didn't want to have anything to do with a character like that

I guess this is where we start bashing players for their views and opinions

You aren’t intelligent enough to understand you are doing the same thing you’re bitching about this poster doing

K’Lavon Chaisson has the right to have whatever uninformed opinion he wants. He doesn’t have the right for everyone else to agree with him or not form their own opinion about his statements.

The premise of social justice is flawed. Talk to any advocate of social justice and they decry that black people are being hunted by police. The Department of Justice statistics of police involved shooting unarmed blacks doesn't back up that black people are being singularly & systematically "hunted". O said what he needed to say. If you want to march or protest peacefully, no problem with that. Police are not hunting down black people.

These players have been sold a bill of goods on BLM,
No doubt. They probably don't even know what Marxism is much less the origin of BLM and its leaders.

maybe

But he should have been there with his players, whether you want to believe that or not

Call it pandering, call it whatever you want, but standing side by side to them in the march lets them know that he stands with them.

Not doing so makes it ambiguous, no?

And if he didn't know about it then maybe the people in charge of making sure he knows what his players are up to fricked up?

You see other teams doing this, you have to expect anticipate something like this coming.

It'll never be enough. They'll keep coming back for more until somebody says no and then instantly labeled a racist. Anybody who thinks otherwise isn't paying attention.

Didn't K'lavon leave the team for personel reasons? Seems like Coach O cared enough about players personally that he has allowed them to leave and get their life straight and come back to team.
