I’m probably a bigger tiger fan than you. I’ve been a diehard fan since 1971. I just like the T by my name…

Perkins destroyed their track running QB last year...he will catch KJ even if he is in sand

You won’t have to worry about that, it’s actually frustrating they don’t coach/play him that way. Sucks I’ll miss the game but glad I won’t have to watch. Tigahs win big in this one.

IMO Arkansas has always been lucky they were on the back end of LSUs schedule every year since joining the SEC. We’ve always played on the Friday after Thanksgiving or after the Bama game which is LSUs biggest & most physical game they play every year.

This year the Piggies get all of a healthy LSUs attention & I don’t think they’ll leave BR happy!!

Usually, but not always.

2003, 2011, 2017, 2019 were routs. That’s 4 of the last 10 played in Tiger Stadium.

About half of the last 10 games there have been blowouts.

This feels like an area where Perkins would feast

no and no.

He isn’t a threat throwing it. He is getting slower.

Their stats aren’t similar

If the hogs beat us it will be because our Offense stunk it up, and their rush game dominates us. That’s it

Those games were also in November and after the Bama game.

2 of the last three times Arky played in BR LSU won by over 20 points.

Perkins
Weeks

(I am fearful about watching DBs bouncing off his big arse though)

(I'm salivating over their OL issues)

He won't hurt us on the edge because of their issues/injuries at OT. Just can't let him go all Dak up the middle though.

shite, we want him leaving the pocket and moving horizontally. If Savion Jones sets the edge as well as he did last week, he’ll either beat their RT for a sack or force him back inside where Perkins/Penn/Weeks will be flying downhill to clean up if Wingo or Maason don’t get him 1st. He may get some yards on designer power runs up the middle, but if we collapse the pocket and force him
to move horizontally, there will be shite ton of sacks and holds. And I don’t think he’s a very good thrower on the run, so he may try to force some throws to evade sacks that turn into easy interceptions.

I like KJ. He’s good. But he has to have a good OL and RB to be effective. This is just a terrible matchup for them with their current issues. We are at a huge advantage against offenses that allow us to have Perkins/Penn/Weeks all on the field at the same time for most of the game like last week against State. Arkansas should be similar.

Ole Miss will be interesting. Even though they do run the ball a lot, they still spread you out and can pass on any play depending on the matchup. I’m sure Lane’s game plan will try to scheme a LB off the field and force us to run more dime with an extra DB. But we’ll cross that bridge next week.
