In his first season under Lane Kiffin, Matt Corral threw 14 interceptions.
His second year he threw 2 and lead Ole Miss to their first ever 10 win season.
Jaxon Dart threw 11 in his first season under Kiffin.
Dart returned in 2023 throwing just 5 interceptions, tied a school record for minimum thrown at 200 attempts, and lead Ole Miss to their first ever 11 win season.
Let the process process. Let Kiffin coach.

Our fans are just melting because the schedule suddenly looks brutally difficult with how we performed against Ole Miss. The loss itself was immaterial

Thats fine but we can’t afford to experiment a second year with leavitt. Give someone else a shot and then come back to it if not any better NOW.

Those guys were not paid $4.5 million to play QB.
For what Leavitt is being paid, he should be able to complete a pass to a wide open receiver.

I seriously don’t understand this.
Maybe it will calm down after TAMU but if you didn’t have OM tagged as one of the 4 toughest games going into the season you don’t know football. We needed to split OM TAMU Bama and Texas.

Leavitt only has 1 year. And he’s being paid $5 million. No break in period allowed. He needs to perform now. Or put 1 of the other guys in that can throw.

We’ll never see that environment again, between the energy their players came out with and the fans, it was no doubt our toughest game we will see this year. And as bad as our qb and defense played at times, we were at the goal line at the end of the game to potentially tie it up. Hopefully the qb issues can be fixed, the defense issues were just a Borrowesque game from a heisman favorite.

We’ve seen big second year jumps here for transfer QB’s and that can certainly happen. Daniels in particular looked a lot like Sam, where he just had no feel for the position. He didn’t turn the ball over, but he refused to take chances and see the play through. Biggest difference know is there isn’t a Jefferson/Chase, Nabors/BTJ that will take a 3rd year leap on this team. At least not one that we are seeing yet.
