I don’t understand why it would have been a negative thing if he went.
would have been in the governors suite networking with politicians and business leaders.
Should have made it real fun and went and stood on the Georgia sideline.

He’s staying on Baton Rouge tonight and going to see women’s basketball open SEC play.

If this is Kiffin trolling, then I agree. If this is the Governor trolling and inviting Lane, then he kind of has to go along.

I'm sure Kiffin cares what you think.

I thought he had a good interview during the LSU/Houston game. He only said good things about Ole Miss.

This is the type of immature behavior that Kiffin is known for, but it's time he grows up. OM is playing in the biggest game in its history and he needs to allow the players and fans to enjoy this big moment.
The problem is he's such an egomaniac that he thinks he's the most important person in every room, but he's not. There's a time and place for everything and tonight is not the time to show his face.
Some of the powerbrokers need to tell Kiffin to STFU and stay home and focus on building this team. It's time for the circus side shows to take a permanent vacation!
Ok, so listen up band man. You have obviously never been part of a team to understand the relationships that you develop with your coaches and fellow teammates. If you had, you would understand the "pull" he is feeling to be at that game. Even if he can't be on the field, he would still be in a position to see their emotions and feelings during the game. I really wish there was a way to only allow former athletes to post on this forum! I'm out!
P.S. I have been in the player's role and the coaches role. So, I understand exactly what he is feeling.

Comparing Saban to Kiffin in anything shows your ignorance!
Saban = 7 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Kiffin - has never won a conference championship or even participated in a championship game during his time at UT, USC and OM!
Please sit down and shut up, you're embarrassing your family AGAIN!
