I had a concern about LSU's offense. It doesn't take a genius to be concerned when you are ranked in the 100s for multiple years.

If anyone we would have to thank it would be mr. Burrow for liking LSU but i think they both knew what he was capable of and going to nebraska or Cincy wasn't gonna give him this chance. Very lucky he didnt choose Florida.

Well Coach O was also instrumental in convincing Joe that LSU was going to change the offense. Which is why Coach O put Joe, Jimmy (Joe's dad), and Steve Ensminger together on their visit to LSU for hours so Steve Ensminger could show them what he was planning to do with the offense. Not to mention, that Joe's dad and Steve Ensminger were already good friends as well.

Burrow should thank Joey Bradywater.

Actually, he owes more of his success to QB coach and OC Steve Ensminger. As it was under QB coach Steve Ensminger's supervision, tutelage, and guidance that his amazing transformation has occurred. And he has said as much in several interviews if you halfway paid attention.

And why would I believe “anything” kiffin says?

What's his motivation to lie? He's not on the coaching staff and neither is he an opponent. However, Coach O and Kiffin are still good friends.

Just about our entire fan base had a concern about our offense. Kudos to Coach O for getting him here despite that fact.

So now we can add Kiffin to the list of guys trying to take credit for Joey Heisman. Along with Urban and Tom Herman.

What E was planning to do with the offense was put Joe in a position to run an offense he’d never run before with a style he was unfamiliar with and it showed last year. Even Joe said it was uncomfortable for him. The fact they got him him to come here is still nothing short of miraculous. E had no idea how to craft a modern rpo offense. Brady’s injection into the mix was our saving grace. Just glad all the pieces finally fell into place.

Florida didn't pursue him. Nor did Nebraska. Fortunately, they each had "better" QBs . . . .

He’s just positioning himself to claim a share of our championship.

He did coach at Bama, so he learned from the best.
Funnier if at USC under Pete Carroll.

I think this is further evidence of how close Kiffin was to coaching at LSU.

They had every play Joe ran at Ohio St and followed each play with a similar play that LSU ran during the spring game. It showed Joe that LSU was trying change things up.

I think everybody in college football has known for years that LSU was just a team in waiting for the right offense and QB. This plus I think Coach O is well liked in the business as is Coach E. Nice guys both. I think we have a good reputation as being good recruiters but not dirty. I think we garner a lot of respect across the nation.

As Coach O said, "We Coming". The SEC best be ready for a changing of the guard. If we have a level playing field be beat Auburn by 28 and Bama by 10.

I would say fortunate for Burrow as well. As much as Mullen is hailed as an offensive guru, I'd bet all I have he wouldn't have near the success he's had here this season.

Burrow, O and LSU hit the trifecta.

He may not have, but you saw Dak at Mississippi St. It's not like UF isn't loaded with talent at WR, they just don't have the QB to distribute. Put it like this, had Burrow gone to UF instead of LSU, UF would be #1 and undefeated right now. Dak wasn't the only QB at Miss St that broke records, and almost every QB Mullen has had start for him prior to his HC stint at UF, has broken all time school records.
