LSU can offer anything bama can offer. He can also be himself here just like at OM. If he leaves it’ll be to the NFL

I agree that he isn’t leaving anytime soon but let’s not get this twisted. If for some reason Lane quit LSU today, their would be more than a couple schools contacting his agent by tomorrow morning.

I don’t think a big program would hire him if he just straight up quit LSU. That might ruin his career. That just shows he might be having a mental crisis.

Would there be teams who would risk trying to steal him right at this moment? None that would actually have a chance of him even considering. Maybe next year.

I think everyone really needs to look at what something like that would actually look like for him after everything he’s been going through. People would legit question his mental stability and his ability to do his job. There’s 0 chance. It’s too hot rn.

Nick Saban himself called Kiffin and told him if I was at LSU instead of Alabama I would’ve won 12 national championships

Didn’t LSU pay him $1 million to tell him that? What if Bama paid him $2 million for a better story?

If you stepped out of this echo chamber you’d know that’s already been happening.

Not now but certainly a possibility in his future plans.

When and if he gets a chance to go there he will go. Don’t be gullible and think he don’t have a wandering eye. May not be this year but it will be in the following years.

Nah, ain’t nothing special about Bama now that Saban is gone. He can do the same as Saban at LSU and not always be considered the number 2 man.

He tried to stay for the team. He was told no. This would be him bailing on a team after a couple months. PR would be too much to overcome.

If Kalen goes to Michigan this whole coaching search season is going to be legendary. Bama will do their best to steal Dan Lanning and if that doesn't work then they will move to Kiffin, Sark, or Dilly.

I actually hope Michigan is able to land Kalen just to see what that does to Coaching Landscape across College Football.

Debore isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Every other school would be a step down and he knows that. And honestly I don't understand the Kiffin/Bama "dream job". Why? Because he was an OC for a few years there?

HC to Mich would be a step down from Bama and I hate Bama. Michigan is a great job but not on the same level as Bama.

This right here. Not to mention the dozen or so staffers that just picked up and moved their lives at Ole Miss to LSU probably wouldn’t be to keen on making another move just weeks later.

there shouldn't even be threads like this. Bama and OM fans are just saying to try to get to LSU fans....threads like this give them what they want

Bama without Saban is a lateral move in this era. 3/4 last coaches have won a natty at LSU. Kelly could have made it 4/4 if he wasn’t such a f**kup. Lane could make it 4 of last 5. NO ONE else would be able to say that. We are a. Blue blood program now and after Lane wins a natty we will be THE Blue Blood of the 2000’s and moving forward. Lane ain’t going to Bama.
