Key is a physical specimen that has all the attributes to be a dominant edge rusher in the nfl.

The most important attribute is effort.

Pretty sure Clowney didn’t show up in any game his Jr season and was still no 1 pick.

He was also the most physically impressive player that has ever passed through the combine.

This is starting to look like another Johnnie football career.

The 40 is his most important drill though. He’s a speed rusher

Three-cone is more important - burst agility. The QB isn't 40 yards away. It's important but not tops.

The knee excuse doesn't hold up though, 3 cone is harder on them than straight line running.

Those guys are significantly heavier. I don't think that's a reasonable comparison.

In your opinion, do you think Key is currently a first rounder? I realize things can change moving forward, but I don't think he is at the moment...and I thought he was a solid first rounder heading into the combine.

No it’s not the 40 is meaningless

You people who think in absolutes are ridiculous.

The 40 is meaningful. It's not everything.

Key showed up light...probably too light for the NFL's liking. I'm guessing they would want him to play at about 250.

Whatever the reasons, Key was out of shape for a large portion of the season. If you ignore the off field issues, the biggest problem was that when he was heavy, he didn't play like the same guy. Some can carry the weight and still perform. I don't think Key can.

The point being that a light Key, probably needed to show out during the combine. That didn't happen. He was good, but not great. So, I think there are reasonable questions about what he'd be able to do at a heavier weight.

Key is a gamble pick with his issues

Two years ago his talents were obvious

Now his issues are glaring

Hope he works through it and makes it big in NFL

Lazy, no competitive drive.

That is my opinion for Arden Key.

Did anyone ever post the reason he was out that all these interviewers at the combine are so "blown away" by?
