The article says they got this info from a source.but then they quote him as if he said it.. can you even quote someone because someone else said he said those things and then act as if they got that quote from gausman?

People calling him stupid need to think about it from his perspective. Dude is having the time of his life at LSU. No responsibilities, playing with his friends, and other than Mettenberger he probably pulls the most tail based purely on his name on a campus full of beautiful co-eds. And barring catastrophic injury he won't make that much less next year than this year.

He will probably sign, but he has a few things in his favor that don't always come up. He is already in college, so he has that comfort factor of going back that HSers don't have, and he has Sophomore leverage, which doesn't happen all the time in the top of the draft.
Add to that the HS position player that was picked after him that got more money than the O's want to pay him...
