They still have Gausman and their 5th rounder to sign. They have 4,582,200 to spend without being penalized. They can spend up to about 4.9 and pay a tax but not lose a draft pick.

actually I am, but I'm a realist. You have to realize, this is about as good as it gets for him. He would be dumb not to sign.

I am most certainly a realist as well and I know as well as anyone what this is all about. KG is a smart kid and will get what he wants from the O's when all is said and done.
With that said, I'm not going to pass up an opportunity like this to prepare myself for the fapping that could occur at 4:01 Friday afternoon.
