Yeah I know, it’s stupid looking ahead but hold on here, win tomorrow, get to 4-5 in SEC and then settle down a bit and find our groove … we can still make something out of this season.

UK really can field. You have to work to get balls by this infield. They have made a lot of plays that would be hits more than 50% of the time vs an average or worse defense.

This is what the team can be when they put it all together. They just haven’t been able to do this with any consistency.

Cowan is best suited for this role, like last year, total change of pace for opposing hitters to adjust to his offspeed stuff after dealing with a flame thrower before him.
