I don't have data on this, but it seems like Cowan is/should be a better pitcher with a lead (not all of them are)

The pressure of coming back in a game makes the hitters less patient/overly aggressive which makes them take some bad swings at his change up

That's a good observation, makes sense.

Biggest issue with this team is momentary lapses in focus that other teams seem to be able to take advantage of thus far. Our team is good enough talentwise to go all the way as long as they find the ability to move past things. Gotta have faith! It's why we watch.
