The D is super overrated. They are not helped at all by the putrid offense, but they are not nearly as good as everyone says they are.

Casual takes, as usual.

Chicken’s post said oblique tear. An oblique is not an ab. If he had said ab tear, I could understand.

I love the notion that they think they can just parse their way out of this.

An ab strain doesn't lead to nearly every pass under thrown by 15 yards. And he was as bad as he's ever been last week and it's not getting better.

I have a feeling you don’t know nearly as much about the real-world impact of abdominal injuries on QB play as you do about the taste of O’s nutsack.

Stick to what you know.

Also why hasn’t Nuss been living in that VR world? Jayden was all about it.

Sloan isn’t the QB Coach anymore and has plenty of his own problems to focus on. Maybe Rattay or whoever is covering the QB role (as an analyst) now isn’t pushing that like Sloan did with Jayden.

2 drives vs SELU.

I think he should have gotten an opportunity to try and spark the offense in the OM game, but people need to dial back their expectations. This board has a really bad case of Backup QB Cures All Syndrome right now.

Kelly said he was pretty much over the ab injury and downplayed it. I'm taking his lead, champ.

Btw kind of weird you're thinking about O's testicles on a Wednesday evening, but you do you.

The best QB in the team is always the backup qb.

People confuse no information with reason to be optimistic.

Only when you’re involved. I’m pretty sure everyone on this board who isn’t one of your alters would make the same association.

Bingo. Hard to believe anything from BK. Maybe he should STFU and find a way to win 6 of the next 7 games …

With your injury post yesterday from your insider, did this person fail to mention that Nuss did in fact have a different injury that obviously hindered his performance or was the obvious only confirmed by BK today?

Guess our backup QB is beyond bad if he can’t be used to replace our crippled starter, at least in Brian Kelly’s mind.

He lost so much on the deep ball. I think it’s actually his shoulder and they’re just saying it’s abdominal muscles.

We have 2 weeks to rehabilitate our QB and fix the run game. I’m guessing zero thought was put into the run game after last season up until BK yelled at someone and said it was fixed, but it wasn’t.

That’s not a guarantee. Just lost a team that will have a head to head advantage.

Not my point, Kelly himself said it’s not a core injury, but it’s a fricking core injury
