If he would have put the backup in a few times in prior games (for experience), it would be much easier. Now, he is stuck with the "he doesn't have faith in Nuss:"

There’s an argument of having trust in your QB for operational reasons even if he’s injured. The problem is they’re not calling the games that way and since we can’t run at all it really shrinks what you can do effectively.

I don't find this to be true. He would still get credit for making the change. I don't see it happening though. If he wants until another loss then I agree with you.

Kelly has exposed himself ON and OFF the field many times. 1st with his fling with the realtor and then with Jayden Daniels and no defense. For God's sake we are paying this guy $10 M a year to win football games. I could give a shite if he screws all the realtors in BR, just make $10 M decisions on the field.
We gave him an $18 M team and we get beat by Ole Miss that can't come close to matching our talent..
He should be fired for cause. If your boss gave you a $10 M salary and $18 M to drain the swamp and your team drowned in the muck you should get fired for cause.

We only have 1 loss at this point with playoffs still a possibility. If MVB is successful and can go 6-1 people will be happy Kelly made the change. If he fails, it will have shown that Kelly was making the right decision sticking with an injured Nuss. I’d rather see if MVB could be the guy for next year one way or the other.

There’s something to this. No one know what type or me of deals were made to get Nuss to forgo the draft last season.
