I think it was fair for Miles to play Scott much more last year, and I like how Keiland is progressively getting more touches this year.

If they both continue to play this way, it would be inexcusable for Scott to get more carries. My biggest complaint about the playcalling in this game was all of the times Scott ran the ball for 6 feet up the middle on 1st and 10.

i didn't have a problem with scott's carries last year until scott started to suck balls and KW ran better

KW had a better ypc in SEC games

also, i never understood why KW didn't get a lot of carries against the UNTs or ASUs early on. it was like scott and KW were a duo (with scott getting 85% of the carries), and when 1 was benched, the other gets benched

Keiland has always been better than Scott. LSU needs o put Allen in at FB. So what's if he is overweight he is our only true fullback let him block!!

I think we just try to run it to Black's side as much as possible, and if it's to the short side of the field, then so be it.

LSU is the master of the short side option, it can only be topped by the all white backfield shortside option with Flynn and Hester for a guaranteed negative 2.

The rant is awesome today. By tomorrow they will convince themselves Vandy is a nine win team and will give Florida all they can handle.

Any yeah, Keiland is much better than Scott and has been his entire career.

I would say Keiland is a better back considering the running style that will be effective. Right now we don't have the strength up front to run over guard repeatedly with Scott. We do have the mobility on the interior to get out and pull for off-tackle runs with Keiland. Both guys are giving a lot of effort, but Keiland is the one getting the better results.

One of the guys with miles in his avatar and sig pics went off on some guy for being a member since 2003, only having 50 posts and daring to call out Crowton for not throwing downfield. then chicken said the thread starter was his buddy and the milesmaniac was like CHEERS CLUCKER

Depends on what you are doing. Keiland has looked the best he has ever looked these first two games. I always had a problem with him dancing around the hole, which he seems to have corrected. Scott looked great behind great blocking. He doesn't look very good now. Keiland should be getting 15 carries a game and Scott for the short yardage this season.

Side note, why did we keep running the option with Lafell being the pitch guy last night? I know they want to get him the ball, but Keiland is waaaaaaaaaaaay better for that. Brandon went down on initial contact virtually every time we did it.

i think no doubt Lafell either got pouty after last week or the coaches got scared he would so they tried to get him the ball a million times yesterday
