Still TBD.
They were #6. It's been decided.

And even if true, recruiting /= success.

That's just willful ignorance.

And the year before they were dead last in recruiting. And before you try to argue otherwise, miles was hired in November 2018. He had more than a year to recruit the 2020 class.

. . . . . . Nat . . Big12
2021 . . 51 . . . . . 6
2020 . . 56 . . . . 10
2019 . . 71 . . . . 10

And they improved nationally from 71 to 56 in 2020.

And the year before they were #10.

You’re also conveniently leaving out that they signed 22 players last year while the teams that finished behind them in the rankings signed 17, 18, 14, and 12. They were still #10 in average ranking.

His teams at lsu prove it isnt.

Is this supposed to be noteworthy?

Why did you skip over the parts about on field performance?

Now that Les has been fired and disgraced, It'll be just as satisfying to see the same happen to F King.

Les' coaching and F King's decision making made LSU football miserable for lots of fans to watch for several years.

still remember threads where posters were clamoring for him to be AD or work in the AD office!
I never understood that. Even without the scandals and his poor coaching, the guy was the dumbest speaker. Could you imagine him giving a presser when the Will Wade stuff blew up? Not that he would have hired a Will Wade. Probably would have asked Dale Brown to return.

One would think so. I feel badly for his wife and kids. Wonder where they will move now?

I assume some sort of settlement was reached in which Les was paid less, but avoided the "for cause" firing. I'd like to know.

I feel the same, not sure about the wife yet though, as she had made a comment early on at LSU about the life changing money they were getting. I wonder if she may have turned a blind eye to it all.

Regardless, Les' reputation is damaged and I don't see it improving. Like others have said, he's now toxic.

probably, but if you get right down to the nut cutting, at this point all there is out there are unsubstantiated allegations, if Les took them to court he might win big

And more details about Les' misdeeds would come out. I doubt he'd want his family to hear in detail all the things he's done aside from what has already come out.

Maybe, but it would be awfully ugly for him.

I think he's done. The damage, even if unsubstantiated, is palpable. I'll be surprised if he's hired for anything at all. He should ride off into the sunset before things get more heated. If he did what is alleged, there may well be more accusations to come.

yep, in this day and age for sure, wasn't too long ago that Petrino, et al were "forgiven"

If Les had won two more NC's, 99% of the posters here would be finding ways to defend him. The "my team, your team" here is very strong.

I heard on a podcast that one of the female student workers, was asked to babysit the kids while Les and Kathy went to the movies, then was asked to just join them at the movies and ultimately was asked to spend the night with them after the movie...I know the old adage about judging a book and all, but seeing Kathy, this didn’t shock me at all...no telling if it’s true or not, or if any of this is true for that matter BUT (insert another old adage) where there is smoke...too much smoke in this day and age, he’s done.
