You might be right but not for the reasons you gave. This guy should 100% be a contributor for maybe our biggest weakness which is short yardage and goal line offense. That guy should be getting those touches but it doesn’t appear he’ll ever be given the chance so in a way I agree.

C'mon it takes KJ a week to get to the LOS out of the shot gun and our QB can't play under center. He falls down turning around to hand the ball off.

Eh, don’t think we’re hurting for depth there.
Who do we have that makes us deep at RB?

You can’t convince me a 240lb pound, athletic guy can’t push a pile more than #8 on the goal line. Yal act like he runs 5.7 in the 40 and that’s just not the case. Hes been given zero opportunity in that situation so there’s no data to support that. The last short yardage play I saw him on was last year when they tried to use him on what looked like jet sweep action which was beyond retarded.

And it seems like we’re giving 95% of snaps to johnson and Durham.

Absolutely idiotic on short yardage or goaline to hand the ball off to Johnson, who tiptoes to the line, instead of handing it off to 235lb Jackson

Seems like he could be used in short yardage more often. Durham and Johnson have very little awareness when it comes to picking a necessary yard or two.

I hate to see that. Hanagriff and Richard Dickson seemed to think he had good potential.

He was barely playing. Not surprised.

Zavion Thomas would probably be a better back than Jackson at this point.

FALSE, his mom refuted that tweet.
Better for Kaleb if it is true, honestly. Get another year of eligibility

Sadly, he probably won't be the last RB to jump ship. RBs want to go where they can showcase their talents, and with this OL, it's not going to happen. We finished last in rushing last year and we're worst in rushing this year, so it shouldn't come as a surprise!

If you're a 5-star QB, do you want to go to a school that has zero WR talent? We've given Davis plenty of time as OL Coach and he clearly is failing miserably. If LSU has any chance of keeping the RBs it has and attracting any quality RBs, Davis has got to go

So LSU is just unfortunate to have 10+ different offensive lineman who can't run block...even with "poor coaching"? Or is the absolute dogshit approach to the running game that suddenly tanked everything?

Davis was the OL coach in 2021. For the first half of the season LSU was awful at running the ball. Then, they changed the way they tried to run the ball in the 6th game of the season. In the 7th game the RB (Davis-Price) set the single game rushing record. The same guy who had the lowest ypc average of any starting SEC RB prior to that. TDP went on to become a 1000 yard rusher after only rushing for ~150 yards, total, in the first 6 games.

Did Davis or TDP suddenly become a great coach or player overnight? Did the OL suddenly learn how to run block in game 6? OR, did the coaching staff accept their shitty approach to trying to run the ball wasn't working and changed it!!!?
