Yeah, good point. I didn't think we would either, but he found a way to get those extra yards after contact that Kaleb seems to lack...

We didn’t have a RB with a burst last night besides emery , could’ve played Durham . Holly and Durham probably have the burst we needed last night . Josh and Kaleb may not be the game changing back

His problem is that he does not run through contact. He expects a big hit to drop the defender, but if the defender comes hard, he loses that collision.

He also needs to work on vision, but he does not intimidate anyone and that was his edge last year.

Some of you are fricking braindead. Campbell has been drug all over this board last night and today for talking big and not backing it up, on top of the stupid penalties.

As much as I don’t want to admit it, we needed Diggs last night.

Diggs isn’t back from injury yet. He wasn’t on OMs depth chart for this week.

Fournette was never running the ball from shotgun with zero forward momentum dummies

I was wondering if it was such a great idea to bulk him up so much.

It looked like he lost his quick dash and acceleration.

How in the frick can anyone make such an assessment based on 6 frickin carries? Especially when there was a lack interior offensive line push or penetration on the majority of those runs? Outside of those 3 runs by Emery, what you described to be Jackson's "issues" were issues for all the running backs last night.

Terrible thread.

A lot of you are melting.

Give the kid more opportunities before you send him home.

I said the same. Very underwhelming. Some have said he hits the hole harder than LF. Not last night. Very timid. Out “physicaled” by DB’s.

He looked slow and unexplosive. The complete opposite of last year, where he was a rocket launched out of the backfield.

Not sure it’s because he bulked up, lost burst or just hesitant. Either way, he is not the same and on none of those 6 rushes did he even show glimpses of it.

Just a reminder that LF didn’t have a decent game against a P5 opponent until the UF game in 2014.

That was his true freshman year though

The not running through contact thing stems from last year, he got some big hits, but to take his game to the next level, he needs to learn to run through contact. He got better last year as the season went on, but seems to have not gotten over it. You are right that the playcalling and blocking were bad, but for all the offseason hype, he disappointed.

Not bashing the guy, but comparing him to LF is crazy. He has all season to improve, but it seems our coaching staff let the team down by not having them all ready, which they are paid millions to do.

He doesn't make cuts to holes. He tends to run straight into the line

very much... he doesn't have very good vision for a ball carrier... he's a battering ram, and if he can put it all together, he'll be a problem, but right now, he's nowhere close to that
