FWIW, I doubt he is charged with murder. Probably something like negligent homicide or vehicular manslaughter with a leaving the scene enhancer.

Yes He does seem to be in trouble based on what he’s being charged with. I don’t want him to get away with anything because it’s hard to tell what he did based on the original article and I don’t want a precedent being set if he’s being overcharged.
What can be considered be considered causing an accident?
If I pull on breaks in the middle of the highway and the person behind me swerves and hits someone should I be charged with murder?
If I cut across a 4 lane highway out of a gas station, and the person in upcoming traffic panics and swerves would I be charged? What if I don’t see that they wrecked, would I be charged with a hit and run?
I’ve passed cars on these single lane roads and I’ve had cars pass me plenty of times.
The point being the article leaves a lot of questions with the way it was written. I’m just not going scorched earth like a lot of other people in this thread until more information is released. If he was the cause of this frick up, he needs to do his time and hopefully he learns from it.

That’s the question, how is he still walking around? I doubt he’s on the run, and I have a hard time believing the police don’t know where he’s at. Go through the process, get bonded out and go from there.
