Sure didn't take long for Jeff Van Gundy to forget his name.

Hope he gets some bonus money as I don't see him sticking for long. I thought it was funny that Jay Bilias said his strengths were banging inside and playing good post defense and that he had good strength.

One of us is wrong because I don't think those are his strengths at all. To look at him you would think he was strong but I saw lesser, smaller players take the ball away from him quite a bit. He is quick enough and coordinated enough to block a lot of shots coming from offside help defense but he is really not a good straight up post defender on his own man.

His other strengths are outside shooting, foul shooting and a pretty good passer for a big man. He is really much more of a finess player than a banger.

I don't know about yall but now I think the Heat are going to win it all next year. Probably going to lay some money on it too, this puck put them over the top in my book.

I called Hamilton being drafted in the 2nd anlong time ago. If he stayed another year he would have been borderline 1st rd pick.

He has topped his ceiling. He was mid late 2nd rounder even if stayed. More than likely its a chance to dump their first round pick to free up money for a free agent and also to get a future first rounder.

In my book as well. I considered the Heat having 3 Hall of Famers, one of which will probably go down as one of the greatest to ever play the game.. I also considered the fact that they are looking at maybe adding two more Hall of Famers in Ray Allen and Steve Nash.. Then I considered that they just won the NBA title. But no... no... Justin Hamilton is clearly the difference maker for them going into next season

I disagree on him topping his ceiling. He still has plenty of work to put in on getting better.

Wish him well! Wish he would have stuck around, but understand why he left. Good luck!

The heat can't afford any more payroll so for Hamilton to make the team someone will have to go

Yea. Its pretty obvious its a dump trade. Trent and Spoelstra run 2 entirely different systems. Hamilton would need 3 season to get into that kind of transition game.

Technically, wasn't he traded to Miami, not drafted by Miami?

Technically Miami drafted him by telling Philly who to get.
