I haven't been in a couple weeks, so I haven't heard any reports, but usually the crabs come thru in August. You could go to the beach and catch some crabs. Or go to arties and catch another kind of crabs...

Just stop by anything floating in blue water and look around. Best is to cruise along a grass line (broken or thick) and have someone look over the side till you see some. They will bite on almost anything, fast moving jigs work well. If you catch a couple chickens, a bull is usually hanging aroun...

I went to LSU for undergrad and ULL for grad school. ULL is stacked up with people from a 25 mile radius. Much civic pride from many small-town folks. it gets pretty tiresome. That said, I enjoyed my time there....
