No. I said that people like him and you will make co
Meets like that and then defend a coach above the program. That has been my point and why I hammer people like that since joining this site. THEY ARE NOT FANS.

Also, put up or shut up. Spend the money to help the average students at LSU and the student athletes.

So many little kids on here just fly off and have never donated a cent.

By the way, I talk and type because I can’t see well so I make mistakes at times. Live long enough and still have an active mind then come see me.

Yeah, in a decent league.

The Southland is arguably the worst conference in Division 1 basketball.

I am rooting for Wade to succeed at McNeese. (Not over LSU though) Based on what the majority of ranters say, WW should find quick success at McNeese. The level of competition is low and programs can quickly be rebuilt. (Look at the Missouri example everyone loves using here)

I think this season will be a good litmus test for WW. Undoubtedly, it will settle a lot of the debates people have on here. What if he absolutely tanks and McNeese has a losing season? Not expecting it because he's had success everywhere but we'll see.

Ok. Well we know will recruit elite players to McNeese because he is an elite recruiter or so I’ve been told.

And the Southland is apparently garbage.

So Wade easily wins the Southland next year, should be a layup.

The main point of my post is this:

I don't want people making excuses for WW if he does bad. Every excuse given by the McMen: "We lost all our players, new head coach, first season, etc etc" were all shut down and denied by WW fans.

If WW fails (like I said, I doubt he will) and any of these excuses are made by Wade fans, they need to be told to shut the frick up.

LSU will never play McNeese while Wade is there. It's a lose-lose situation.

Their net ranking was 30th out of 32 conferences. So yes, its garbage.

What's constitutes "success" is relative. If the ONLY bar for success is an NCAA Tournament birth, then it is unlikely Wade will have success next season. But if it is significant improvement from this past season, then I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen. He significantly improved Chattanooga and LSU in his first year at each school.

You don't have to only look at Missouri to see how quickly a program can be turned around. Simply look up I-49 in the Southland Conf. for that. Northwestern St. was 9-23 last season. They were 22-11 this season under a new coach and played in the conf. tournament championship game. It is likely McNeese improves to that degree? Probably not. But it's not out of the realm of possibility.

the Southland conference is literally ranked the worst d1 basketball conference in the country.

So you are saying the path for Wade to make the tournament is not a steep as we thought? Win the tournament and he is in?

"No. I’m saying that from a most interesting outcome scenario and if Wade is out for blood for his firing and is on a revenge tour against LSU AD, Hill to McNeese would be lol entertaining. I’m not making any judgments on coaching or conferences"

No you used the words "and make him better". Naturally he would be BETTER in the SC than SEC since it is an inferior conference. So how would that prove anything? Maybe you better understand what words mean before posting. And I probably understand Machiavelli better than you.

Get rid of everybody that doesn't want to be here. Can you imagine the football team doing anything like so many of the roundballers have done this year?

I completely agree. People saying WW with make NCAAT in year one are either ignorant, unrealistic, or both. The Southland is only producing one NCAAT berth each year. Unless WW wins the Conf. Tournament, which is a possibility with McNeese hosting it, he's not making the tournament.

That being said, I would consider success simply improving. Moving close to .500 or over .500 is enough for me. McNeese hasn't had a winning season in a while.
