A father that is a QB coach in the NFL that apparently did not pass down QB 101 things like don’t throw across the middle of the field while running to your non-throwing side may not be the benefit you think it is.

Will he have an opportunity to improve his stock with a rebuilt line next year? Will he have any protection or would he just spend the season running for his life?

This 100% he's not hurting for money. He wouldve had a trust fund no matter if he ever played a down of football. He waited this long to take the reins so why would he leave? He won't/isn't going anywhere. He will make alot of money with NIL so that's not an issue. He's a gunslinger and will have some bone headed ints that will cost us at times. But if he cleans that up a good bit and our defense can grow we will be ok next year and sneak in the playoffs

Honest question: if we are in the age of buying players in the portal, wouldn’t it make more sense to throw money at players like Emery Jones to stay one more year to play left tackle and improve his draft stock? I mean, our starting LT should be getting $500k every year minimum now, no? So much smarter to pay the players you know vs. 18 year-old HS kids.

Nuss showed improvement and toughness the last couple of games. How great would it be for him to follow the footsteps of Burrow and Daniels and win the Heisman at LSU. Kelly needs to get a lot of work done this off season, key transfers, a special teams coach, a better run game system and figure out the first game of the season riddle.

This was for all intents and purposes his first year starting, and there were moments this year where it looked like it.
He's got some things he can clean up and improve upon. If he does come back I expect he will be a better QB next year.

Anyone who says Nuss sucks and wouldn’t start anywhere else is an absolute moron. That is a fact. Yes he has a couple of things to work on but to come back from that hit and play the way he did? Most coaches hope they could have a QB like that. And without a deep threat almost entire year.
