Les gives stud a list of plays for that game's script on Tuesday and Wednesday..and Stud calls from that list. Everyone wants a new OC. If LSU got Kevin Sumlin and Mike Leach as Co-OC's the offense would still look the EXACT same. Stud simply calls plays from a list provided by CLM. Not hating on Miles, im simply saying that a changing of OC's will yield little difference if any in the scheme. Bowling Green didnt have this scheme when Stud was there.

So you also read that when another poster said the same thing without any evidence to support it? You sure paid close attention, because you almost repeated it verbatim.

Playcalling just sucks for the past however many years.

Tough to call plays when your QB can't complete a long pass. Or a short pass.

Did anyone see Mett throw a long pass. I didn't! .....

Oh yeah except for that overthrown one, that we can count on from him at least once per game. He has no touch on his long passes and doesn't give his WR's even a chance of completion because he overthrows the long ball consistently.

How many long "Rueben Randle" type TD passes did we throw this year? I can think of the one handed Landry catch and that's it. I'm sure I'm wrong and will be corrected by just an observation and pet peave of mine.

If we are blaming this on Mett, then Les Miles officially can't evaluate QB talent or recruit them.

Ok if I did agree with that happening, then during the game who calls the plays in certain circumstances? 2nd and 2 with 2:30 on the clock and we call 2 passing plays. I believe that came from the booth. I know we have called some stupid plays in bad situations, but that play calling was by far the dumbest thing I've seen at any level. I like coach Miles but that did not have his touch on it.

Assuming you know what you are talking about, whose decision is it to throw 3 times with 2:43 left and all you need is to run clock get a first down and you win the game? Who makes that decision?

FYI... That play was wide tha frick open. If we cant count on Mett to make that pass, than we shouldn't be in the game to begin with. The play call was money and the route was naked. Ever think that maybe....JUST MAYBE the execution was poor and not the play calling?

Do you think its possible that Les and Stud are talking before their offensive possession and say stuff like "Hey, if we get a short yardage, look at a PA roll out." I mean Clemson only had 18 ppl in the box. These guys throw around ideas and "looks" back and forth allllll game

I agree. Plus, how can some of you blame Mett when most of the night he didn't even have time to plant his feet after dropping back before he had pressure in his face
