You serious Clark? We came into the season with Caleb Gilbert as our Saturday guy. Gilbert probably wouldn't crack the top 5 of Florida's staff.

Good points. I mean where aren't "we" a joke?

Time to clean house. Orgeron, Maineri, are givens. Then Breaux, not even 2nd place but 4th. 4th!!!! An undeniable slide in the program so she has to go. Women's basketball? Another given. Got to include track & field too don't we? Softball? What bling have they brought home? Men's basket ball is suspect. Wade needs to be on a very short leash. Tennis, diving, etc. are a drain on the pocket book.

Time to fire everybody. Amirite?

Arkansas got swept by Mississippi State. Everyone in the West is having a weird season. Even with the sweep at South Carolina, LSU is still only a game out of 1st in the west. Also only two games (plus tiebreaker) out of missing the SEC tournament.

A joke as in under 500 and losing mid week games to sub par teams. Teams like Florida don’t do that.

CATASTROPHE SYNDROME!!!!!!!!!!!

We've lost some games, the end is near, we'll never be competitive again, it's all Mainieri's fault.....he's terrible.....the players are getting too soft!!!!!!

Did I hit the major points?????

Basketball turned it around with an up and coming coach. I think we need the same it baseball cause this soon to be loss is all on coaching

You do realize our rankings/position in standings in both sports are currently higher than basketball was, right?

Of course you don't. If you did, you wouldn't of posted this unless you were speaking out of your arse. Are you bending over, spreading your cheeks, and speaking?

You can literally find this same thread from exactly one year ago. Let me know how you think that season ended up.

Mmmmmmm ... Player, my friend, the college football world has been laughing hysterically at LSU for hiring Orgeron because he was so unqualified. Let's hope he can give them all a nice shitburger to eat. But, he's a punchline right now.

Oh cmon...Football program is not a joke. 18th in the nation is not a joke. Have we gotten spoiled to being in the national champ. mix and slipped a notch? Sure. But this program is not a joke.

And the college football world is not laughing hysterically. They may question the hire, sure. But Lets not get ridiculous.

But, I am hoping Ed Orgeron gives a lot of people on this board a nice shitburger to eat. The problem is on the rant, not with the rest of the college football world... Especially the coaches. None of them will take LSU lightly, I promise.

Here's to lots of shitburgers passed around

I respectfully disagree. I think every time Ed gets in front of the microphone and contradicts himself other coaches take note of it. They use stuff like that against him in recruiting. All they have to do is bring up stuff like the Canada situation to point out to recruits that he doesn't know what he's doing. O also think the same thing goes for college football analysts.

Think about how our fanbase would react to a rival school firing a coach that averaged 10 wins a season only to hire their DL coach which no one was trying to hire AND give him a big buyout. Thar coach has a career losing record and the worst coach in Ole Miss' history. Then, that coach hires an OC that doesn't run the style of offense the head coach has publicly said he wants to run. Then, that team loses to a Sun Belt team and fires that OC after just one year only to promote the TE coach, who by the way no one was looking to hire him either.

Just those few things would have this fanbase laughing their asses off if that was happening at even Arkansas, Ole Miss or MSU, much less the big boys.

This we certainly agree on. In fact, I've used the exact same phrase several times on this board recently.

I think you need to pump the brakes a bit on this. Look at what we did last season. We lost a ton from a really great team. The whole rotation was new. Key position players graduated. You can't expect to live up to the expectations we set just last season. We'll rebound next season. Paul deserves a long leash for his past success.
