I think the lack of interest and
job interviews coming his way speaks volumes about what other institutions think of his job performance at LSU and aTm. Maybe he's turning down offers every day and I've just missed the news, but has anyone offered him anything? He may have to get back into politics!

You can argue ball and strikes all night on here.
Scott Woodward and then NCAA Commish Mark Emmert have a long history together and are close. They even have a personal connection through kids.
He was brought in as a cooler to settle the Wade NCAA mess. LSU slid by without any serious sanctions. He got lucky with a couple hires and no so much with other.
He did what he was hired to do.

[link=(well the clown show has perfectly executed two major coaching searches while Scott completely whiffed at his, so badly he nearly cratered both programs if generous donors didn't step in.)]LINK[/link]
hiring Mulkey and Johnson were not whiffs - Kelly was the best guy available when hired and widely heralded as a great hire at the time - the current BOS did not conduct two major coaching searches - Kiffin was the only person even considered and Wade was already in the works when Woodward was fired - in fact, his refusal to bring back a damaged coach in Wade was the reason he was fired
