One of the LSU GOATs No coincidence we won our last title with him.

That’s really all this team is missing from a title run is a Gauseman/Nola/Lange type starter. Oh And competent left infield defense.

It's been fun watching him. Luckily I'm a Blue Jays fan too so it's been alot of fun watching them so far this year lmao.

How does one from Louisiana become a blue jays fan

Also a Milwaukee Bucks and Green Bay Packers fan. Just the teams I liked growing up.

I can relate. I was born and raised in Louisiana, but I've always been a Dodgers fan. Never cared for the Saints; New York Giants fan.

Lots of LSU connection in Toronto! Living in Toronto, Blue Jays/Raptors/Leafs are big. And there are lots of LSU alumni here, and I'm in class of 71. I consider myself one of the biggest Tiger fans north of the border.

I'm a geek for saying this, but Alek Manoah is the best pitcher on that staff

What's the current status on former LSU commit Nate Pearson?

Gausman developing that split-finger fastball saved his career. Been pretty incredible how much better he's been

I wanted to cry when he got plucked by the Jays b/c he has elite MLB potential obviously.

He struggled with command when he was brought up in 2020, then missed a lot of time last season with injury. Looks like the Jays are gonna take the same approach the White Sox took with Michael Kopech, put him in a multi-inning relief role until he's ready to be a full time starter.

If they Jays can hang on to Guasman/Berrios/Manoah and quickly develop Pearson into a starter, their world series window is gonna be wide open for a few years
