I guess Lane answered no when JJ said, "What about me?"

If he can catch, how could we not use him as a WR/RB? If the defense is nickel, line him up at RB, if the defense is base , line him up as WR against a LB.

Just more writing on the wall that transfer players will be coming in and will be hard to compete with.

Dont be surprised when anyone enters the portal any given year. When theres a new coach, expect over 50% of the roster to be turned over

Stupid. Kiffin would utilize his ability easily. You could've stayed one more year to find out? I doubt they told him to take a hike.

How would you have used him differently?

He can play in the SEC, but he is a fringe SEC athlete.

If he wants to play QB he is about to find out the hard way.

He’s a great athlete, but he’s not a P5 RB. Can’t blame him for considering a change of scenery at this point. He was always a team player & wish him the best.

I want a guy like Black at IU or Hardy at Mizzou. It has been a long time since we had a mean back. CEH was fantastic, but he wasn’t cut from that cloth either.

Black may be my favorite player in CFB at the moment (I know we can’t have him, I’m just saying…)

Because then you would have to take a more talented player off the field to do so. Johnson was selfless and that’s amazing but he has done nothing to show he should have taken reps away from others.

Never understood why we didn’t utilize him in the red zone on short yardage as a true read option QB. I imagine he scores in the Okie game where MVB throws the pick in the endzone Perks int.

He doesn't want to be RB. He will probably go where he can prep for QB. I hate to see him go.

He probably saw how bad Nuss and MVB are and thought “I’m better than either of those dudes”.
His talents have been misused and wasted here!

Well, he did whatever was asked of him at LSU; good luck to him at his next destination.

tremendous athlete.

Good enough to play RB
Good enough to get a look at QB
Good enough to play in the slot

Just a tweener unfortunately. Reminds me of Russell Sheppard. Yes, I'm aware he played a good bit in the NFL for the bucs.

I’d let him play QB for the bowl game, just see what he can do.
