Would have been interesting if the judge ruled LSU must roster the players to give LSU even further protection

LSU isn’t a party, so he couldn’t

Yeah but once the players' lawyers asked LSU to be included it could be taken that they became one, in a sense. But yes I see your point

I don't understand what y'all are angry about. Courts have gone both ways on if the NCAA can punish a school who plays a player under an injunction. It's not my opinion

In any event, hilarious result. And hopefully that ridiculous SEC suit is next.

Ill tell you where LSU really won. Recruiting. We showed that we back the players. I know this wasnt an LSU lawsuit, however I believe LSU was instrumental in bringing this situation to the forefront. We were the only one to buck the SEC and the NCAA. Now imagine coach O talking to a kid and his parents about how LSU has the back of the players...and backing it up with this scenario.

This wiener is unrelenting… to me this tweet shows he wanted LSU to lose. But that’s just my opinion.
At least he has a job for the next year writing about this and LSU.

It's Kentucky law, but it says what I have always thought is the law:

If the injunction is dissolved on appeal, you face the consequences.

Ya if they are barred they are barred. Not arguing otherwise. It's just something rolling around our there as a consideration.

I don't pretend to know what happens on the umpteenth appeal.

You are the only other person that I’ve seen look at it from this angle. That’s exactly what I said to my brother two days ago. We’re gonna do whatever is necessary to make sure our players are treated fairly. We stand behind them no matter what.

Absolute selfish reasons I will admit.

Imagine the ESPN talking heads...

"The NFL preseason sack leader is back in college!!!!1"

I've not been following this evening, is this tied to the SEC lawsuit or is that still a separate ongoing thing?

So punishment is or isn’t allowed upon appeal? I’m so confused. Some have said we’re safe and now apparently there is something out there that says otherwise….?

No.. that just means if we don't roster em.. we cannot blame it on the SECs rule

then instead of referencing the contract, post it. like post the entire contract directly so we can read it ourselves.

hate to be the one that breaks this to you, but that is NOT his revenue sharing contract.

that is a separate contract that gives Washington (or insert any other school) the rights to use the player's Name, Image, or Likeness.

it's a separate contract because Revenue Sharing and NIL are tool completely different entitles.

also, this is NOT a contract septic to the quarterback you mentioned.
because if it was, the terms (dollar amount, years, etc.) would also be in there, and they aren't/

try again.
