Glad he's returning. He already has two degrees so I wonder what he's going to study?

I dunno...but we will probably be calling him "Doctor Josh" at some point.

Good news for sure. Williams is just a good football player. He does everything well and plays his arse off.

This dude is a prime candidate for former Tiger that we randomly see five years from now getting carries for the Jets

OP is a control freak that's most likely never been inside a College classroom.

Josh may love being at LSU (I certainly did) and wants to stretch it out longer.

You only get one chance, so make the most out of the opportunity.

6 years. Geaux for it.

Career, NFL or GA will be there next year after MORE LSU!

2024 RB Room: Williams, Jackson, Holly and Durham.

Very good player in an undersized package. Plays hard every play, and he knows and executes his assignments. Future coach?

That's outstanding news.

Dude is tough as nails, always fights like a mofo for the short yards, and routinely blows guys up blocking (and from friggin rb!). Also an excellent receiver. Finally, a great team guy and appears to be the least of our concerns.

Objectively, he lacks the top end next gear but I can live with that. Absent injury, a sixth year Josh Williams will likely have a really solid season.

Kind of surprising, he will make a team, and is healthy right now. RBs have such a short shelf life in the NFL.

Tbh, I’m not sure how much of a pro prospect he really is.

He can do everything asked of a pro RB. Not the kind of guy starting on your fantasy team, but someone you will see on third downs or 2 minute drills.

Josh Williams is a positive contributor every time he’s on the field. Great to hear he’s coming back. His leadership in the backfield will be important for the team.
