Looking at their schedule and if they stay healthy, they will win 9-10 regular season games.

MAYBE, IN A WEAK arse ACC. WE SHALL SEE ABOUT THAT.

YEAH MAN THEY ARE BETTER THAN ALL SEC TEAMS ON OUR SCHEDULE!

SEC TEAMS WILL NOT GET BETTER

LSU is that bad right now. Did you even watch the FSU-dukes game?

Get your valiums out. What FSU did against us on offense is what MSU does exceptionally well - short passes all game long. Will Rogers is a 3rd yr starter for them and they return 80% of their offensive production...

Not saying we will lose but MSU will be a tough out at best.

Josh has always given level, rational takes, and I'm an idiot for not believing him when he said LSU would likely go 7-5.

Maybe, maybe not. I can tell you this, their DL is legit!

Josh is of course spot on, but you will have idiot posters with a win now mentality who will disagree. Program needed a massive culture change and we are in the beginning phases of it.

I did not make that assertion.

There were a ton of mistakes. A shite ton. I believe most of them are easily fixable. If LSU has half as many mistakes they win the game. FSU despite a couple of boneheaded coaching calls and their last fumble played a really clean game.

For LSU the most difficult mistakes to fix are blocking assignments and tackling. But they are fixable.

This loss was one of those games where a tiny bit more continuity and we win one of the most horribly played games ever. Honestly I feel confused due me disliking the term "moral victory" but it's clear Kelly has installed a "no quit" mindset.

FSU improvised against LSU defense. It was specifically their QB Travis. That is were FSU made their most important yards. Does Will Rogers have the same escapablity as Jordan Travis?

ETA, I just looked up Will Roger's stats. He has impressive passing stats after playing Memphis but he is not the type of QB like Travis that will improvise with is feet. If LSU gets the same pressure on Mississippi State as they got on Travis, Will Rogers is going down.

This loss, as much as it stings, may end up being a watershed moment and the timing is as good as it could have been, 1st game.

We'll see a different team Saturday. Yeah, it's Southern but I bet we see energy from the first kick and a team playing with joy. We saw no joy in the first half Sunday, the players reacted to that and it spun out of control until it was too late. Late enough for a missed PAT to be the difference.

Things will get better from here on, Sunday was our low point. We'll lose other games, the ones we should lose, but the emotional low point was Sunday night.

Time to let it go.
LFG.

Our team is better than FSU. Hot take I know but I believe it. Them playing a week 0 game was the difference.

I dont think we shite the bed vs Miss State but we definitely could lose the game. They returned like 80% of their offense from a team last year that beat Aub, Kent and A&M. Plus Will Rodgers is a good qb.

Josh ain’t wrong

He tried to warn those of you calling for a 9 and 10 won season to chill out. He could see what was coming

He predicted 7-5 and that looks likely

Josh’s take that this is a cultural overhaul is correct.

But…that doesn't dispel the fact that this team was utterly unprepared for game one. With the possible exception of the defensive backfield, each position group underperformed. If BK wants to create buy-in, he will have to do better than that.

Some will improve, some will not. Like every year.

I think they are probably a 7 or 8-win team.

That was a phenomenal clip. Dude really knows the psychological aspect of the game

I think the problem is simple for LSU fans:

NCAA 2014 and Madden

Laugh if you want to, but too many Xbox ADs think that all you have to do is fire/hire, list a few ‘studs’ that you have on the roster (aw man we got ____ playing QB, ____ running the ball, ____ & ____ on the outside and _____ in the slot) and BOOM, you’re good to go

That couldn’t be further from the truth. You can’t build a championship caliber team overnight and there is going to be some growing pains. Having the coach you want and having the roster you think you need is only half the battle. We still have a long way to go, and I predict that many many more LSU ‘fans’ are gonna hop off the bandwagon before we completely right the ship

In summary, our fans have been ruined by xbox football games and the internet gives them a platform to spew their ignorance
