And everyone hates Pate again

As bad as this Oline is and if not for a fumble by Sharp, missed FG, Green dropping a wide open pass where he had 30-40 yards before he would have been touched and some blown calls LSU maybe still loses but by maybe 3 or wins. Bama offense was almost one dimensional against Baker and Co.

He’s definitely a gump. He doesn’t try to hide it

it’s a silly notion.
At the end of the 2Q. If we sustain our last drive and even get a FG it’s 10-9 going into halftime, because they wouldn’t have had time to score. And we get the ball back in the 3Q where our defense made 3 consecutive stops against Bama. It was there for the taking.

When you have a long list of frick ups and lose by double digits, it’s difficult for me to say we could have “easily” won.

Josh Pate was a I told you so guy when LSU hired BK and they went to SEC championship first year. He was heavy on BK's side and thought he'd bring us NCs.
That's his thing, he's always "I told you so" then he's wrong and says nothing about it. He's always wrong too.

Bro literally put on a red clown nose and read his posts about how great a hire Kelly was the day after LSU fired him.

facts. This is a bad team. Poorly coached offense and lacks physicality.

He’s good when ur team is winning and brutal honesty hurts when ur team sucks. We are in the latter category.
The only thing I don’t like about him is he ALWAYS leaves himself an OUT no matter the subject, prediction, or story. He’s never all in confident, but he never liked LSU “this” year even at 4-0.
He’ll say TXam is the best team in the SEC but………….(insert out, crawfish)

Let's face facts: Bama was playing with their food in that game.
Rush 3 and stay back on defense. Nothing particularly spectacular on offense. It was almost like they were going vanilla to keep from giving Oklahoma anything to scout.
That's how bad this LSU team had become, especially on the offensive line.
Don't get me wrong, Bama isn't winning the national title this year--they're just a generic Top-10 team, IMHO. That will end up being a very forgettable game.
But any thought that LSU actually had a chance to win, even if the refs weren't buffoons, isn't realistic.
GEAUX TIGERS!

Pate is actually an LSU fan. He's just calling it like he sees it

He gives LSU a lot of props too. Don't be mad we suck this year. It is what it is.
Listed above is the reason we didn't easily win the game. Discipline is more important than talent. We don't have the discipline. We're constantly out of position, missing easy plays etc...

So why don’t they mitigate them? It’s the same problems that we’ve had all year.

Yes I’m a contrarian to the thought that LSU could have “easily” won a game on the road against a top 5 team that we lost by double digits. If LSU could easily fix all of the problems they’ve had, they should probably think about doing that before the end of the year.
