He said on his show this evening that he expects Denver to be good to go against Alabama. I know he hasn’t played perfect but we will need him and all the bodies we can in 2 weeks because I don’t have a good feeling about Zy Alexander’s injury when he wasn’t able to put any weight on that leg.

Did he say why he didn't play? Speculation is that he's in the doghouse but is he injured?

Doghouse still. Personally I think the kid will get it figured out and it really is not huge things. Huge things would result in him not being on the sidelines and stuff and he often is.

Jordy also said that he expected Harris to not have anymore problems after the troubles he had in fall camp. Looks like that prediction was wrong as well. Nobody should give a shite about anything Jordy has to say regarding Denver Harris. He saying what Tack Minor wants him to say.

Thinking about it… are harris, stamps, welch, and ryan really that much of a drop off from what we already had? Not really.

Also Sam #14 is starting to play his arse off at safety.

When he’s covering the cats from Army of course he’s playing better.

Sounds to me like a multi-game suspension — maybe four — where the coach gets to pick and choose games.

while normally a valid statement, Jordy kinda has the inside track with tack

He’s been good in run support, tackling in space, and has interceptions outside of the army game.

He’s way better than burns

Ah, ok. I didn't think of that. Now that you mention it, that could be the case because I don't think he played in the first couple of games, then he did for a couple, didn't play last night so you very well could be right.

Thanks for mentioning that.

I mean he has to be. I don’t care if he has a closet full of dead hookers with a spare in the trunk, he’s the only one who can match up physically with Burton.

I keep forgetting that guy's name and I shouldn't. He's one of their main weapons.

This was my thought as well. He’s been suspended for certain games.

Which means he is at risk of not being objective and painting pictures of unicorns and rainbows to keep his train from getting kicked off those inside tracks.

This is what I am thinking too, does it really matter who is giving up the free ten yard underneath route, who can’t run with the receiver on a deep pass, or who blows their defensive assignment. All of our DBs will do it including the starters.

The slight advantage of having #24 is that he is objectively a better tackler than what would be his replacement.

I like Jordy’s show and all but what’s his deal with Denver Harris? He’s always defending him like it’s his son or something.

Not at all.. the issue is Harris and welch haven't been seen in multiple games ha. Stamps has been hurt.

So Ryan and maybe Hughes the only availible cbs, yes we're screwed. If Harris and welch are back and full go, we'll be fine. Both have had good moments and have the talent. I'd hope this is the type of game those 2 kids dream of playing, and like any cb, want to shut everyone up and ball out. Fingers crossed their availible.

We'll need sage, welch, Harris to finish the last 3 sec games.. otherwise prep for the softest zones you've ever seen to keep every throw in the flats
