Jordy is a fanboy with an internet show. He's not an objective journalist. So Jordy often reports simply what he is told by his source without any additional follow up to confirm the accuracy of the source. A lot of times he reports, or at least skews information to reflect what he WANTS to be true, not necessarily what is actually credible. He's a hard worker. He busts arse to get guests to appear on his show. He's not the most credible reporter.
For example: He was convinced LSU was going to sign (current Knicks center) Mitchell Robinson out of HS and reported it as fact, rather than speculation or supposition. The reality is LSU made efforts to see if there was a way to sign Mitchell, but it was never the sure thing Jordy seemed to suggest it would be.
On another occasion, about a week before LSU hired Brian Kelly, a friend and I ran into Jordy at an LSU basketball game. My friend was a good friend with Jordy. In making a bit of small talk my friend asked Jordy who he though LSU was going to hire to replace O? Jordy unequivocally said he was very certain it was going to be Billy Napier. That surprised me a bit because I had heard before that Napier was never a serious candidate. A week later the Kelly hire was announced. The reality was Jordy was working as a public mouthpiece for Napier's representation who was working to get Napier the LSU job. That's why despite very few people in Baton Rouge actually giving a shite about ULL football Napier had a weekly appearance on Jordy's show. Just like Jordy did with O, he WANTED Napier to get the job. However, he reported it as if Napier's hire was going to be imminent.
Again, I like him. He works hard. Just take what he says with a grain of salt
