What body of work are you basing the comparison on? Lee has started every game except 1 this year. Not enough evidence to say either of them runs this offense better than the other. It's been like 90% lee and 10% jefferson so far. Perhaps Jefferson runs the offense just as good or better. There is no way for us to know that right now. This season has not allowed us the opportunity to see it.

MIles has never mentioned anything about Lee being in the doghouse.
Lee said he was informed late in the week that he would not start.
Miles said he decided to start JJ becuase he liked the way he finished the Bama game.
Whats ironic, is just a few short weeks ago, when asked if Lee would continue to start since JJ was reinstated, Miles said anything else would be irresponsible.
Reading Miles latest comments, saying that either could start, and that it would depend on the defense we're playing that week... this tells me he's trying to keep opposing teams guessing.
If it helps us win, thats great and all... i just feel bad for Lee.

You didn't watch from a suite, but if you did you would have taken a pic at some point during the night. And even if you did, I would 10 to 1 rather watch that game on the 50 than in a box. Boxes are for sidewalk fans that only care about certain parts of the experience I.e. Jarrett Lee.

Agree Miles is using this to his advantage in terms of keeping the opposing teams guessing. But I don't understand why you or anyone would feel bad for Lee. What is there to feel bad about?

These coaches know what they're doing. Be happy about that.
Agreed. There's also the matter that last year, Lee's numbers cratered in the second half. SO I think the staff is trying to prevent that from happening again.
The team now has two options at QB who are wildly different but now demonstrated at least some ability to play with the other's playbook. How do your prepare for LSU? You have no idea what offense we're gonna run.
Before someone asks, here are Lee's numbers in the 1st half of the season last year vs. the second half:
36/50, 72%, 405 yds, 8.1 yd/att, 2 TD/1 INT
18/39, 46.2%, 168 yds, 4.3 yd/att, 0/0
I don't think that's going to happen again, but it's at least a concern going forward. Which is why I'd give Lee the easy reps against Ole Miss. But what do I know? Les has handled this thing like a friggin genius, so I'll just go along for the ride.
