I would like to see the HC a little more engaged during the games. Clapping and yelling “Let’s go, baby” with the mike on the headset never in position to speak is not the greatest look.

Look it’s teally simple! If there is this so called discontent with the head coach how in the hell would we be getting all these top notch transfers? Don’t you think those players came in on their visit and at some point spoke to the current players about coach O and their relationship with him? Gosh some of y’all want the man gone before he can get his team on the field to compete. Your bias is obvious! I say let the season play out and the judge the coach

Recruiting/ getting top recruits has never been Ed O's problem, its everything else.

I am not sure what your point is here

I call B.S. with vilma’s Info. I’m not a O guy at all. But only 2 players have transferred this offseason and both because of playing time. If the players are not buying in, then may others would have left this summer

I mean, he’s a former nfl player who now covers college football. It’s not hard to believe he knows LSU people.

Vilma was also asked if UM could repeat causing turnovers like last year. Assured Matt they could because it’s taught everyday. Then went on about taking ball away from runner. Didn’t mention anything about interceptions.

Of their 31 takeaways last year, 4 were fumble recoveries. I give zero fricks about his insight into LSU football.

Saints didn't take the ball away near as much on 2010 as they did the superbowl year. Guess Greg Williams quit teaching it

There is some questions by the players regarding the offense. An underwhelming hire and O has his hands all over it. He has not learned from his Ole Miss days to let the coaches coach.

That being said nobody on defense is not bought into the program. They know Aranda is the real deal.

Canada did an excellent job and really had the kids believing. How everything went down is why you have a lot of doubt by the players.

Jonathon Vilma

I am not going to read this entire thread but where did he go to college? Miami? Yeah, ok. Let me believe what he says a week before the big game.

Maybe we should see if his boy Nevin Shapiro can come give our guys some extra cash for making plays. That was the only way Vilma stayed “motivated” for a full 60 minutes in college.

He is a Miami grad. What in the hell does he know about LSU? I heard him on WWL today and he didn't say anything too bad.

lost control of the team in the 3rd game of the season last year so it's not out of the question.

Is that why the team went on that run at the end of the year?? Bc he lost all control? STFU

You basically just typed what's running through your own head and many others on the rant.

Why do you morons feel like you have to post lies right before the game? I know for a FACT this is not true. Starting with Burrow most players believe that this offense is going to be dynamic in 2018. It may start a little slow, maybe, but most believe it's going to be a very good offense. I know for a fact. So you sir are a lying piece of shite. These players are excited actually.

The team went on that run because those were against uncommonly weak SEC teams. Not taking anything away from the players but that is true.

Arkansas-fired HC coach
Ole Miss-beat an interim (now appointed full time HC)
Florida-fired HC (took a missed PAT to win)
Tennessee-Fired HC
A&M-fired HC

See a trend here?

I'm all for O being successful but come on, man. I am no O fan but I want him to be successful because he coaches LSU.

I give him and still do credit for the Auburn win. I give him credit for getting Burrow.

The time for talking about last season is done. He has his staff, depth in players, he has a QB that learned under Meyer, he has a brand new kicker. He has no excuses anymore.

I actually Bama is scared of what O is capable of...not from an X’s & O’s point of view, but from a staff building point of view....he’s bringing in all the right pieces to help LSU get to the next level....

Coach O’s skill set is D-line technique....he will get this D-line to an elite level...he’s making all the right moves to get the offense into shape too....with NFL analysts and the such...

Don’t sleep on O....

I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility. Didn’t Duke Riley talk to the team after they did in fact quit in Starkvegas just last September?? What in the world does J Vilma have to gain in this situation? If it isn’t true (I do know we will find out during the season if it is or isn’t.) then he just fired up the team & now LSU can play the “Us versus the world” card even more. Just doesn’t make sense to poke the team for no reason. Critical thinking.
