They lost by 20 one game ago. Good win tonight but you cant say they are in a groove after one game.

If LSU played NC States schedule they would be fortunate to be 7-4

Lets not sit here and pretend that beating 8 scrubs and SMU is the same as playing Texas, Auburn, Kansas, and Seton Hall

That was a good Mcwin against a quality McOpponent! Finish in the Top10 in the SEC and make the Tourney.

No shite. They literally lost to Kansas in overtime yesterday by 1 point in Wade's first season and LE is taking victory laps. So stupid. NC State has better metrics than LSU even with 4 losses. Fools are easily deceived.

Question: In SEC play do we live and die by the type of night McKinnon is having from beyond the arc? He isn't going 6/7 every night as we know from her performances so far this season.

We still haven't seen enough playing time for Zipper to see if he is can fill the roll on the nights when McKinnon is off.

There are too many mad that LSU beat a quality opponent and now they can’t make shitty jokes about the school they claim to support. Pathetic.

the proclaimed "biggest" LSU basketball fans are really just Will Wade fans. But we've already known this for a long time

Another stupid thought.

Bringing up Wade is a huge distraction for losers.

As critical as I am of McMahon, that was a good win last night. Hopefully this can be replicated for a strong SEC start.

Don't worry about it. Wanting to win - and appreciating a win - means nothing to them. It's all about a singular told ya so.

I think we are definitely seeing patterns to success for this team.
1. Nwoko has to stay out of foul trouble in the first half. Mac will sit him everytme apparently, after he gets two fouls.
2. Mackinnon and Sutton are the keys. They play well, we play well. Thomas has to have somewhere to pass too other than Nwoko.
3. The team has to quit putting the burden so much on Thomas and produce offense on their own. So many times Thomas passes to a player who makes no move to score or put pressure on the defense and they just quickly pass it back to Thomas, which does nothing except take time off of the shot clock.
4. Tamba has to realize he can be a part of the offense other than on rebounds and fast breaks. He is a great athlete and should be able to drive more and either kick out or shoot.

If we can repeat these patterns for success, it is possible that we can repeat this SMU victory against some SEC teams who are expecting the doormat of the conference.
