If what i saw in the spring game translates to the season, i think Giles can finally become the threat we thought he would be.

Quick slants and outs can get him the ball for easy yards and he can show off his RAC ability.

They tried running him on too many deep routes like a speed burner last year. Hopefully he still has enough confidence to not beat himself out there.

Giles looks like a walk on out there.

And that's an affront to walk ons.

I’m sorry, I would hope for it, but I just don’t see it. He is insanely slow. Marshall, Chase, and Jefferson are studs, and Dillion, Sullivan, Anderson, are all ahead of him. Wouldn’t be surprised if Palmer and Lee are ahead of him too by the time they come in.

The TT offense was Giles's ceiling. He was put into an offensive system that's been in place for years. They've seen players of his type so they knew exactly how to use him.

We've had to build this from the ground up and there's going to be growing pains along the way. He should've stayed at TT.

I dont Think there is much he does Dee Anderson doesn’t do better.

I cant justify him getting snaps over probably 5 other WRs.

I hope ALL of the players Strive under Brady (i.e. work very hard) as for THRIVING, we do know Giles can catch (fair catch) but we have little evidence that he can catch during an actual offensive play.

He's too slow to get open in the SEC. This isn't Big 12 land where guys played zone against him all game.

Looked like he was running 4th string slot WR behind Jefferson, Dillion & Kirklin in spring game, writing is on the wall for him there, I would graduate and transfer somewhere I could play.

and surprisingly isn't quick either. He just doesn't have very good acceleration. There were a number of plays last year that could have been big plays, but he just didn't have the quickness and acceleration to get past the first defender.

Giles better learn how to hold the athletes towels because that’s about all his future in sports includes.

As long as he's available to return punts, we're good.

Giles might want to take the Jazz Ferguson route and start calling Southland schools.

He won't strive or thrive. Way too slow and undersized.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he was dealing with a nagging injury last year

Ferguson actually had a lot of talent, he just didnt have a good head on his shoulders at LSU.

Ferguson had 1,117 yards and 13 TD receiving last year (including well over 100 yards receiving on TX A&M), then at the combine measured up at 6'5 227 with long arms, a 4.45 40 and 37" vertical...that's big time results
