John Kennedy is a little bitch. He had no problem with Piyush doing this with Les. Can’t believe these dumbass voters keep voting him in.

When I saw the title I immediately thought that Orgeron was just hoboishly sloppy looking.
I left disappointed.

I like Coach O. I think he’s got the program going in the right direction.
He can support whoever he wants for governor. Obviously he and JBE are tight.
That doesn’t stop me from believing JBE has been a mediocre at best Governor for Louisiana- one whose policies will be bad for the state, in the long run. Or than his political party is being overtaken by overtly socialist newcomers in DC (they’re no longer trying to hide it)- which is SURELY bad for the entire country.

So is Saban. As a matter of fact, I would hazard to say that the vast majority of football players (probably basketball players too) at LSU are Democrats as well.
This is the real reason. Think about who they recruit. Not many players are going to come play for a republican. Most coaches want to be successful in their jobs so they do what they gotta do. Doesn't mean they vote that way...

I didn't like it with Miles or Saban and I don't like it with Orgeron.
Of course it's his right. I would never say the coach doesn't have the right do publicly support the candidate of his choice.
That said, sports are supposed to be what unite the people, whereas politics are what divide us.
When Tiger Stadium is filled to capacity to play a big game, nobody in the crowd cares about the politics of the person to the right and to the left of them, no pun intended. I like it that way.
JMO, but I'd prefer the coaches keep their politics private for that reason. Allow sports to be the thing that brings us together.
The other issue is that in the likely event JBE loses, will the Republican who wins the election stack the BoS with people who would hold a vendetta against the coach for supporting the loser? I can't answer that, but it would be hardly unprecedented in politics.
Just my $0.02.

Les Miles never had any trouble bringing top recruits to campus. Just saying...

My god, how dare Ed Orgeron speak favorably towards the current Governor.
I honestly feel he would’ve provided the same answer whether the Governor was a Republican or Democrat.
