This was a pretty good comparison. I'm glad we got Emery to stay home though!

Emery. Sanders will be a bust

I'll take the one who wanted to wear purple and gold.
Not sure how their careers will go, or who will end up with the better numbers after 3/4 years, but I think Emery has the better season this year.

Honestly having Davis in the mix as well increases Emery’s value. Imo they could be used very similar to Bush/White at USC.

They’re both incredible. I have Watched Sanders do some stuff that’s incredible.
It looks like Emery is the faster of the two.
And I will Always take a faster RB. As you go up in competition the speed gap closes. So you really need too end speed.
Emery kinda reminds me of a preinjury Nick Chubb. Great breakaway. Great power. Good moves
Sanders reminds me of Trent Richardson. Good power, good speed, great start and stop

Emery will have more impact. If we had a more explosive back like him last year we may have won an extra game and even scored on Bama.

Or whoever has the most playing time. Hard to see that not being Emery this year.

Everyone not a Bama fan who follows recruiting said that Emery was the best back in that class. We'll see how it plays out. I sort of expect it be be a little like the LF7 vs Bo Scarborough situation where Emery contributes immediately and is drafted before Sanders even becomes a starter.

I think Emory is going to be very good. But Davis is going to be a MONSTER!!

I still laugh at the 3 posters who kept repeating that Emery didn't have top end speed. You know who you are.

By mid-season: John Emery = Alvin Kamara

Will let you know January 2022. But it's hard not to expect great things from Emery.

Two! Florida and A&M.

From a qualitative standpoint, this one is very close. I think there are more things that Emery can do with the football and I think there are more things Sanders can do on the football field.
From a pure "running back" standpoint, when you consider everything we expect from the position, blocking/blitz pickups, taking a handoff, pitch, or catching a pass to advance the football? I think Emery is the better player (particularly with the ball in his hands).
I think Sanders probably has the edge with power running/hard yardage and better vision or patience (at least that we've seen to date).
But these are fairly fine distinctions being made. The better "RB" of these two will be the cat playing in the more dynamic scheme with the better run blocking offensive line. Both have sky high potential.
Again, in my humble opinion.

Emory is a game changer. He will be revered by the time he leaves LSU. Kid is special.
