I thought he was out of eligibility?
Here's best I can surmise:
2019 - Freshman (played)
2020 - doesnt count
2021 - redshirted did not play
2022 - RS sophmore year (played)
2023 - RS junior year (played)
2024 - RS senior year (played but injured after game 1)...porbably got medical redshirt this season
So he would have 1 more year left if granted the medical redshirt. Covid really throwing things way way off still

Your probably extremely fun at parties

Has it been confirmed it will be with LSU? I honestly think he should try and get a starting job at a G5 school. He could do well.

Why does he need to move on?
Maybe his knees are more prone to injury than most other players.
Look, I admire Emery's grit and desire to come back, and I hope he has a great 2025 season. But it's not out of line to question whether his body is up to the task, given his history.

I think he might be eligible for Medicare.

No, they don't know where he's going to play.
Not sure why everyone is assuming LSU.

Year 7 for Emery….
Nothing but respect for this kid, as he has been plagued by leg injuries and has still hung in there and remained a faithful tiger. I hope he makes some plays and earns himself some $
Let's him a couple mil NIL deal with the quickness... I wanna see this kid set for life.

Saw him on campus today. Definitely needs to get back into shape.

The kids he’ll play with this year were in 6th grade when he started college.

Yeah, his graphic says he's returning to college football, not LSU.

He should be the smartest guy on the team with all these years of college. He came to Lsu highly touted. We have yet to see this talent. Even when healthy he did not seem to be the guy in my opinion. I wish him the best and we could certainly use him.

That’s good news. I’ve known John for many years. He and I served under Chester Nimitz and stormed Iwo Jima together in ‘44.
