Wrong....Chavis was a flop. Best thing that happened to us was getting rid of this guy. Has been a failure everywhere he's been since leaving LSU.

Chavis is probably the worst defensive coordinator we've had since 2000
I say probably because I wouldn't be shocked if I'm forgetting someone but he's the worst off the top of my head for sure

LSU was forced to pursue Chavis and The Aggies for buyout money rightfully due to LSU. This took a a serious amount of time and legal costs to pry the money out of College Station.

How a relationship ends is everything. If you date a girl and everything is great and then at the end you find out that your last weekend away together she was texting your nemesis, a guy you hate the whole weekend and it went terrible, and then she left you for him, its not gonna matter one bit all the good times you had while you two were happy. Thats what Chavis did. He mailed it in on our bowl game against Notre Dame because he was busy looking for his other job with the Aggies, our rival! Doesn't matter if he wasn't happy, you can't justify that crap. So no, he deserves nothing from us, glad he went there, we kicked their arse every year he was there.
