A good #'d card is what you should hope for/invest in, but Panini Prizm or Panini Select cards are the best common RCs to get. As great as Burrow is, Herbert cards are still the highest valued player of the 2020 rookie cards

I see a lot of people like myself that collect the players in their LSU uniforms I know they aren’t worth as much as them in their professional uniforms but I like LSU more. I bought a 2019 autograph white LSU mini helmet with pretty much everyone’s autograph on it for 300.00 and this is my pride and joy right now. When Stingley goes in the first round this year there will be like 6 or 7 first rounders on that helmet

I'm the same way. I have a few JB9s, clydes and jjettas in their pro forms, but I'm LSU all the way.

Here's an album of some of my stuff I got back from grading in November. I have another wave of cards I need to send out again

Having said that, do rookie cards hold up any value? Any collectors or sports cards experts here can explain about rookie cards vs. preserving some type of value?

Today's cards do not hold value like the old cards from the pre 70's. The main driver of the card value is rarity. These card companies today pump out a jillion cards when printed.

As far as base and crappy parallels, sure. But once you get into the numbered relics, they will hold far more value than the 60s and 70s era cards. Even for the old cards, all of the non-rookie cards are essentially bulk junk like todays cards

Very nice and impressive collection. How much does it cost to grade and encapsulate each card on PSA?

PSA is only doing $200 sub tiers and up, but they do "drops" for $50 sub tiers, but it's max 5 cards, and you have to have a PSA membership (which is like $100 or something like that)
