I always remembered a HS option QB tough enough to play fullback, then had the hands to be moved to wide out, but was always a RB.

I hope Kelly gets back to this giving dudes a shot at the position they want. Then after season or when enough is enough have a sit down and help them get in a better position to Excell at another position. That's gonna be hard now with the transfer portal.

Eric Martin was a RB who was moved to WR ay LSU. It happens a lot in college football.

As was Josh Reed, who won the Biletnikoff award as a wide receiver.

When Joey Nails wrecked Florida almost single-handed Back in the day (2004 ) it was one of my top Tiger performances. There may have been better running backs but there were never tougher backs. I’ve always just called him Nails. The reason we don’t say his name is simply the passage of time. The same reason we don’t say Wendell Davis or Michael Brooks or Willie Teal or Charles Alexander. The passage of time, my man.

He was actually moved to WR at some point. What a move, play begins at 00:35

whatever man. this board has been poppin' since at least '03. and we loved us some Addai.

TRUE STORY

old school Rant suggested Addai move to LB.

I think this was in the 04 offseason when the RB room looked a lot more stacked than it turned out to be during the season (read: before Vincent fell off).

One of my favorite LSU players because of his toughness... Dominick Davis was another one that I loved due to his toughness.

Not true. Plenty of Tigers from that era get mentioned more than Addai. Josh Reed, Josh Booty, Rohan Davey, Devery Henderson, Keiland Williams.

The reason he doesn't get mentioned is because he always had to split carries about 4 ways and then was the heir to Edgerrin James and the RB behind Payton Manning.
