That’s why we are partnering with the B1G and not the Big 12 or ACC

Watch Iowa be the BIG team left out of this because of the annual game against Iowa State. Would love to drop that to play an SEC team.

Would be awesome. But I’d imagine they would spread those games out to maximize TV viewership. All about that money

Greg Sankey would be a dumbass to agree to this. It benefits the SEC in no way shape or form. So I assume he’ll counter offer a 2 for 1 where the B1G team gets two home games and the SEC team gets 1.

Nebraska and Oklahoma had a great Big 8 rivalry and just finished a home-and-home not long ago in 2022, with games already scheduled for 2029 and 2030. Why not make it an annual event?

Penn State and Alabama played a 10-year series from 1981 to 1990. That would be a fun one to restart on an annual basis.

Tennessee and UCLA played 13 times on a semi-regular basis from 1965 to 1998. Another good one.

Kentucky and Indiana have played in football and basketball and seem natural because of geography.

South Carolina and Maryland were both in the ACC at one time.

You can fill in the rest with good brands at the top of each league.

Must bring back Nebraska and Oklahoma.

Indiana and Kentucky would be great.

MSU v. MSU

Penn State and Alabama have to come back.

Or pair states

Michigan v. Texas and TAMU v. Michigan State

Illinois v. Tennessee and Vandy v. Northwestern

Purdue v Miss State and Indiana v. Ole Miss.

LSU v Michigan would be awesome.

How about Michigan State v LSU in the Nick Saban Bowl. Who would have thought that Nick Saban would later replace Gerry Dinardo. This would be a rematch of the 1995 Independence Bowl.

I think at the end of every other year they should take the top and bottom halves of both leagues, throw the names in separate buckets and pull who you play the next year. Each match-up plays Home/Away and then 2 years later you get a new team.

That will pretty much secure no UGA-Maryland or OSU-Vandy type machups.

This is already happening in '30 and '31. Home and home with Alabama starting next year.

well if Sankey is negotiating with the big 10 I expect him to get his arse handed to him as usual, so probably all big ten home games, except 1 in Tuscaloosa
