Agree the offense looked great! Put up lots of points... which is exactly what O needed to do to convince fans they had indeed, made a change. BUT, hold on a little... they were playing Georgia Southern. Let's see how they look against some good SEC teams.
Again... I agree that the offense is obviously changed and looked great. But... let the season play out. This mindset is what has gotten LSU in trouble in the past... Giving MIles an extension... deciding to keep Miles after he rides off the field on the shoulders of his players after the A & M game.

Or, theyll sit down and renegotiate and find common ground to retain him

Peace of mind knowing that Woodward would be the one leading this process and not his predecessor.

Woodward won't let him slide to a point adjacent to DA. He's the OC without the title.

He is making his OC bones this year. We will promote him. Patience.

Maybe i reading into this, but you wither know something, or believe something. Which is it?

I will ay that Coach O has LSU in a win win situation. Either Steve retires, or moves to an analyst. If this is the case, LSU has an opening to hire a QB coach.

OR

if Brady is particularly impressive in calling plays, then Steve can move to the sidelines and serve as a QB coach. The second option would probably dictate that they are listed officially as Co-OCs because O will probably not ask Steve E to move to a “lower” position on the staff.

Since I have said it, this will never happen........

I'm sure Brady has already turned some heads. Revamped offenses usually don't come together so quickly. He obviously has a natural ability to help his pupils grasp and execute his philosophy.

He will be getting calls before 2019 is over. I know it's only been one game, yeah yeah, it was GSU, yadda yadda, give it more time, rabble rabble... but he's already proven his worth and shone his quality. We need to have something going on the back channels to lock him down for years to come. I'd truly be surprised if Woodward hasn't already started that ball rolling.

That'd be the best idea. E didnt take the job at first, and was hesitant to take the job the second go round. I wouldnt be surprised if Brady took over by mid season

That would be a pretty terrible idea. I’m all for making Joe Brady OC next season but Ensminger provides a lot of foundation and structur for a guy like Joe Brady who’s never been an offensive coordinator before. Joe Brady can learn a lot and get training in his current role while he gets play calling experience. It wouldn’t be smart to shake it up and change what’s working midway through the year.

Promote him in the offseason and give Joe Brady 8 months to prepare.

#LSU Football fans - it is totally acceptable to believe the Tigers played a near perfect game (which they did), be very happy about the results (which you should), while also having an intelligent understanding about who they played (much tougher teams are obviously coming). (@JacquesDoucet

I agree with Jacques.

Joe Brady is choosing a play, giving it to Ensminger. And then Ensminger decides if he wants to run it or not. If I were Ensminger I would shut my mouth, make money, and let Brady do the work.

Ensminger is the highest paid fan in the history of LSU. He can just sit back and eat popcorn in the booth.

I feel strongly about Joe but I feel like next year will be a better indicator of his abilities. How will he do with a brand new QB. Burrow is a different kind of guy mentality
