Dear god.

That makes zero sense.

If the experts predicted 0-12, Alleva would be happy with 2-10?

frick THIS GAY EARTH.

Why are we now basing our expectations on what a few talking heads on ESPN predict?

So if some random media members pick us to go 6-6 every year, and we continually go 7-5 or 8-4, we're beating expectations? And should celebrate and give extensions to all the coaches?

What the hell happened to our own internal expectations for where we want to be as a program?

So the goal of the program is just to exceed the media’s preseason predictions?

Wow, this proves how Joe views the fanbase as a bunch of idiots.

Hey Joe, when you try to act like the smartest person in the room, you usually look like the dumbest.

The experts were also wrong about Miss St, Auburn, and Miami, Joe.

This wasn’t supposed to be a rebuild.

We are still going 9-3

The experts literally picked us to finish 6-6 because they thought our HC would be a train wreck and our offense sucked.

Our offense did suck but Cole Tracy sorta made up for it by being automatic inside 50 (almost)

9-3 isn't the awful record some of you seem to think it is when one of those losses should have been a W against TAMU

if LSU loses to UCF then yeah I start seeing your gripes

The "hunt for championships" era gives way to the "exceed modest expectations" era.

This is hilarious.

So because our expectations were so low based on hiring a fricking DL coach to be your HC, exceeding that equals success.

Dear fricking lord, end it now.

If, after reading this statement you have any questions about the A Dept. attempting to control the narrative about the success of the football program under O, both on this Board and more broadly, this statement should put those doubts to rest.
A more challenging issue is whether the Dept. intentionally delivered the message to these so-called "experts" that we were a 7-5 program in 2018 so as to soften expectations from the jump...

My expectation is always 10 wins.

I don’t care what the experts or Vegas and the general public thinks.

If we get to 10 wins this year, I say good season. If not, we did not meet my expectations.
